Scholarship

Financial support for students with sickle cell disease provides them with resources needed to succeed academically. We offer scholarships for college students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). These awards reduce barriers to learning, encourage consistent enrollment, and empower recipients with long‑term success. Check back here for details on the 2026 application.

Community Events

Our engagements include blood drives and genotype screening to help fight sickle cell disease (SCD). Increasing awareness of genotype status helps people learn whether they have SCD or carry the trait. Many individuals with SCD depend on transfusions to prevent life‑threatening complications and improve quality of life. By getting tested and donating blood, it strengthens support for people affected by SCD.

Speaker on Stage

Speaker

We speak at events, meetings, briefings, and conferences to inform audiences and raise awareness about the medical, social, and systemic barriers individuals living with sickle cell disease face. By engaging healthcare professionals, educators, advocates, and community leaders, we help audiences better understand the impact of sickle cell disease and how they can support improved care, equity, and awareness.
